Sinema polls poorly in Arizona for reasons that have little to do with her “bipartisan appeal.” She rarely if ever meets with constituents and community leaders but seems to have no end of time for hedge fund managers. She has pretty much betrayed the party activists who got her elected and doesn’t seem to care one whit about the people of Arizona. For all her vaunted intelligence, Sinema’s rare interviews expose her as an intellectual lightweight. (I *knew* there was a reason she hangs out with a lump of tapioca like John Cornyn. Regarding mass killings: I listened to Asa H on Sunday saying we have to treat the mentally ill. True enough. I'm pretty sure I've heard that reasoning from others who don't want to address the control of AR-15s. Nonetheless, we aren't the only country to have mental health issues. We are, however, the only country to have mass killings on such a grand scale.
